Best Defense Tool: "Hike-n-Strike Walking Cane."

By Great Wall Defense an Online  Personal Defense Store

Many wilderness hikers need additional gear not required for city walking, but it can become quite burdensome carrying a heavy pack of items. One useful item that that is unlikely to come to mind is the Hike-n-Strike Walking Cane. Not only can it help you to navigate steep paths, but it can also be used for self-defense and as a handy flashlight in low-light conditions. Hikers will find it extremely useful, but it can also be used for camping or for everyday walks around your city.

Many hikers find they need some additional support when walking up or down steep hills. Using a walking stick or cane can provide a safe means of keeping yourself balanced, and fight off the force of gravity that comes with every hike or climb. That extra 3rd point of traction can help you to go places you’d normally not feel confident without the cane. The cane can also provide self-defense against animals who may threaten you on your path. There are many great features built into the Hike-n-Strike walking cane.

Should you need to use your walking cane as a stun gun, it will deliver 950,000 volts/4.6 milliamps to your enemy. It has spike electrodes for safety, and is incorporated into the handle in case you need to activate it.

The cane also has a built-in flashlight, so there’s no need to pack an additional one in your backpack. The flashlight has a removable cap that also covers this stun device when not in use.

It’s easy to grip your cane. The top has a texturized and rubberized grip, so even if your hands get moist, or if it’s raining out, you can still securely hold onto it. This will give you the support you need as you trek across your wilderness path.

The cane is also expandable, so it can be used by people of varying heights. When it’s at its closed length it is 29 inches, but can be extended out to 56 inches. There is also a wrist strap, so if you don’t need your cane for an easy part of the path, you can easily carry it, or clip it onto your backpack.

The cane has some other useful features. There’s also a removable reflective band on the staff. You can either leave it attached for good visibility at night, or you can wrap it around your arm. This is useful if your last part of the journey is getting past a road with vehicles. The reflective strap and the flashlight will keep yourself visible to drivers.

The stun gun/flashlight portion of the walking cane takes three lithium CR123A batteries, and weighs 18 ounces. You’ll also receive an extra end cap, should you accidentally lose the first one. There is a two-year warranty.

The Hike-n-Strike walking cane would make the perfect gift for teenagers, women, and seniors who enjoy heading into the wilderness by themselves. It can provide additional peace-of-mind for loved ones, and is effective should it be needed for self-defense.

How to Avoid Being Robbed

Article by Great Wall Defense an Online  Personal Defense Store

Robbery can be a very serious crime, more serious than you may have imagined in times past. These days, there is always the possibility that a robbery will involve a weapon. Add to that, the potential for injury, the possibility of great material loss, serious bodily injury, sexual assault, and even death. Some robberies can even involve multiple assailants in the form of gang efforts. It would be wise to think about these possibilities before you are targeted and taken by surprise---when its is too late. Rather it would be wise to ponder over the possibilities and plan ahead or even buy a personal defense weapon like a Taser or a Stun Gun in case you have no choice except to fight back. These kinds of considerations ahead of time lessen your chances of harm. It is better to have prevention in mind before being assaulted or robbed rather than dealing with the sad consequences after the fact.

Here are four tips to help you to avoid being robbed, or injured if you are, so that the potential criminal decides to find another target, or better, just gives up.

1. Never brag about having a large amount of cash, valuables, or jewelry on your person. This is applicable to when you’re in the bar, at work, school, or on a vacation. When you’re travelling internationally, criminals can target the tourists first, as they’re less likely to report the crime. It’s like the tourists always seem to have a large target painted on their backs. Keep money split up into different wallets and bags (even consider buying a Hidden Stash Safe), in this way, if you are robbed, you will still have some cash left to enjoy the remaining vacation.

2. Always think ahead. Keep your keys ready. Don’t be seen as fumbling around in your purse or pockets for your keys, and don’t carry more items than you can handle. Be especially vigilant at night time. Try to carry a Flashlight Stun Gun such as the Lipstick Stun Gun that will light to find your way, or it doubles as a quick response weapon in case someone is approaching from behind you. Ideally though, if you can arrange a car ride with a relative or a close friend—then do so. Do your heaviest grocery shopping only during the daylight hours. Use Google Maps to plan your route in advance, and don’t be seen carrying a map around. Give the impression that you know exactly where you are going.

3. Should you still be confronted by a robber, even if you haven’t been carrying a purse, drop your wallet, cellphone and laptop case on the ground and run. They’ll be too busy collecting the loot and getting away, and won’t be worried about you. Most robbers only want the money for their next drug purchase, but if they also have other bad intentions, it’s best to get away fast. You can always replace your credit cards and electronic devices, but it’s hard to heal up mentally from an assault.

4. Remember that if you attempt to resist a robbery that involves only material possessions, there is always the potential for being hurt. You never know when the perpetrator may be carrying a knife or a gun. Besides, if you're concerned about losing possessions, then do not wear showy displays of expensive jewelry that invite robbery. If you normally carry large amounts of money with you in your wallet, then stash the big bills in your pocket or somewhere not so obvious as your wallet. If you have been injured during a robbery, lay motionless. You don’t want them to panic and injure you further. Let them grab the loot and run.

Robbery is often an opportunistic crime, and no matter how much you try to avoid it, there’s that desperate drug user who needs $5 for their next drug hit. Do your best to avoid robbers and you’ll keep yourself safe, secure, and alive to see another day.

Lipstick Stun Gun Review

You have got to check out the 3,000,000 Volt Lipstick Stun Gun. Looks like a tube of lipstick but you don't apply it to kiss someone, you apply it to BITE an assailant till he is on his knees. Very easy to use and simple to operate. Women can carry it in a small purse for easy quick access. Just pull off the top and there you will find two simple buttons. Green for the powerful LED light and RED for lighting someone up with voltage. Men can carry one very discreetly in their pocket for easy deployment. If a woman uses the light to open a door in a dark place, she is ready for someone if they sneak up from behind. Just swing around, press the RED button right next to the green... and zappppp they are down for the count so you can slip away to safety. Very attractive design and sturdy decorated aluminum case. Grab one for each member of the family because you are better safe than sorry. NOT A TOY so Must be18 years of age and over to purchase and use it. Happy stunning!

Review of the Smart Phone Stun Gun

To make one thing clear, this product is NOT REALLY A SMART-PHONE that just happens to stun as an added feature. It is definitely designed to look "just like" a Smart Phone, but this baby performs very much like a STUN GUN. It has a powerful snap-like firing noise that will make your friends jump back at the sound and your enemies fall down for the count when you use it on them. It is meant to fool a perpetrator just long enough in order have an advantage (element of surprise) in case of an attack.

The front face has a replicated smart-phone wallpaper with the appropriate icons for things like the time (military) and even phony a camera button. It is very lightweight and easy to grasp in a hurry to ward off a potential attack upon you or your loved ones. It also comes with a handy LED flashlight feature between the 2 shock probes at the front (reasonably bright though not as bright as some would like) that will definitely help you find a keyhole or your way around at night when it's dark outside.

It has a built-in rechargeable battery and a charging cord that comes with it for those who don't like buying batteries every week or so. It also has a vinyl case that will mount to your belt as well as a black drawstring bag for the ladies to store this monster in their purse. HINT, you may be in danger if she tells you, "excuse me, I have to take a call." Overall this a bargain piece and a real novelty for those who need a conversation starter. But that's not all, it really does the job that is designed to do with that 12,000,000 Volts and the 4.9 amps for the knock-down power that you would expect from a Stun Master Stun Gun.
